Statutory Maternity Pay: 6 weeks @ 90% pay then 33 weeks @ £187.18/wk. Child Benefit £25.60/wk first child + £16.95/wk each additional. Healthy Start vouchers £4.25/wk per child under 4 if on UC. Sure Start Maternity Grant £500 if on benefits.

Childcare & school

30 free hours, Tax-Free Childcare, uniform grants.

3-4 year olds in England: 30 free hours/week (term-time). 2-year-olds in eligible families: 15 hours. Tax-Free Childcare gives £2 from government for every £8 you pay (up to £2,000/year per child). Most councils run school uniform grants £80-£150.
